Mandela's ex-wife Winnie Madikizela
Former president Nelson Mandela’s ex-wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela says the Mandela family is happy that the former statesman is showing some improvement in his health.

She said this while addressing the media in Orlando, Soweto.
Madikizela-Mandela thanked the media for their presence at the briefing at a house which Madiba stayed before he was sent to prison.
On Thursday, the government said Madiba’s condition had improved but added that he was still in a critical condition.
Madiba has spent 21 days in the hospital since being admitted for what was described as a recurring lung infection.
There’s been no update yet on the government’s last statement on Madiba’s health, which said he was in a “critical but stable” condition.
On Thursday, President Jacob Zuma, Madiba’s eldest daughter Makaziwe and Defence Minister, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula visited the former president.
