The music concert dubbed ‘The Bell Nation Feat Mavado & Chris Martins LIVE’ that was slated for Saturday 29^th December has been postponed.

Organizers of the do are yet to explain to fans why the show was postponed; however Mavado using his social tweeter account confirmed this development saying,

“Ugandan fans the show has been postponed but doan worry retaliation ina hurry. New date TBA shortly”

According to him, the Kampala show coincided with another he was supposed to attend in Nigeria

“Unfortunately the show was tagged with a show in Nigeria an they let us down financially an with plane tickets. they are out the picture now” he wrote.

Mavado has however promised Ugandans a ‘retaliation’ to cover up for the disappointment saying this mishap was neither caused by him nor the promoters.

“This was neither the fault of the promoter, myself or my team or the sponsor, but a third party. We are fixing it and we shall be there soon” he said.

This will come as a disappointment to many Ugandans who had braced themselves for the show that they expected would ‘sign out’ the year that has seen a host of international artists perform in Kampala.
