UWA Ranger Killed in Mount Elgon
Uganda Wildlife Authority Community is mourning Corporal Udule Patrick. The motive of his killing is not known yet.
“We mourn our own Corporal Udule Patrick. He was killed yesterday by some community members in Bishinyi, Bududa District”.
Patrick’s death is not only a loss to his family and UWA but to the entire conservation and tourism fraternity globally.
His killers are bent on spoiling the already good relationship between UWA and Communities in Mount Elgon Conservation Area.
We reiterate our commitment to continue working with communities in executing our mandate of protecting and conserving Uganda’s wildlife resources.
