New Victoria University Students’ To Acquire Free Laptops

Whenever they say something, the fulfillment becomes automatic, whatever they promise on quality improvement as far as academic excellence is concerned, the sky becomes the limit, its on this background that many new students now prefer joining Victoria University, the first ever Kampala city-down-town University.

As the administration had earlier promised, last year, many students of Victoria at University wore a smile on their cheeks when each received brand new free Toshiba laptops.
“These new laptops are not a mere incentive to our new students, it’s instead a necessity since we want our ‘products’ to catch up with the trend of technology and also enable them carry out relevant research that can help them to excel academically,” the Vice Chancellor Dr. Stephen Robert Isabalija said.
He added that, until they reach their dream of molding Victoria University a leading learning institution in the region, they will continue promoting unique programs that will enable their students look exemplary, specialized and employment-oriented basing on their
“With our highly beneficial short and medium courses that range from Certificates Diploma, up to Degree level, we hope to nurture students with skills and knowledge that will enable them become a unique, and dependable self-driven job makers in their respective societies,” Isabalija lamented.

“Through teaching them highly marketable courses such as; Certificates in Oil and Gas, Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, Primary Basic Health Care, Bachelor’s degrees in; Journalism and Mass Communication, Business management and administration, accountancy, among others, we are sure the social-economic development our country and the region as a whole, will not remain the same,” VC further said.
Victoria University is one of the private owned higher learning institutions in Uganda and is fully certified by the National Council for Higher Education.
Unlike other universities, during the internship period, students’ enjoy access to financial institutions like Crane Bank, among other companies under the Ruparelia Group of Companies, who is also one of the promoters of the university.
