Uganda Cranes striker Emmanuel Okwi has ended speculations that have been surrounding his next destination by signing a new two-year contract extension with Tanzania Champions Simba SC.

The striker had only six months left on his previous contract, and this extension will keep him with the Tanzania Champions up to 2014.

“I’m happy to sign a new deal with the club and I promise to continue to serve with all my power, and win trophies with my team,” Okwi told Pepper Sport.

Okwi was on the score sheet as Uganda Cranes beat Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro stars 3-0 in a Semi-final clash in the just concluded Cecafa Tusker Cup.
