PICS: Cranes Arrive In Morocco Ahead Of Guinea Clash

CranesMor1The Uganda national team side arrived in Casabalanca, Morroco safely ahead of their final 2015 Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea on Wednesday.

Uganda, who are set to have their first training session Monday evening at Raja Casablanca sports complex at 3pm which is 6.00pm East African time will qualify for finals with just a draw with Guinea.

CranesMor2Coach Micho Sredjevic was upbeat about the Cranes’ chances of winning Wednesday’s match.

“Of course we want to win. My boys and I are like soldiers representing our country. We are here to do battle for Uganda and I believe that we will win,” Micho said from Hotel Lido Casablanca were the team is accommodated.

CranesMorMeanwhile, three Senegalese referees have been confirmed by Confederation of African Football Associations (CAF) to handle the crucial qualifier. Malang Diedhiou will be the official in the center. Fellow countrymen, Djibriil Camara and El Hadji Samba are the first and second assistant referees respectively while Ugandan referees; Denis Batte, Mark Ssonko and Musa Ngobi Balikoowa have been assigned to handle the Group C last game qualifier between Gabon and Lesotho at the Libreville Stadium.
