Rema Wins Big At Inaugural HiPipo Awards

The inaugural HiPipo Music Awards HMA held at theatre La Bonita on Saturday night was marked with glamour and glitz. Artists, socialites were present to witness the awards.

The colourful event sponsored by the mighty Red Pepper saw young talented musician Rema of the Oliwange fame walk away with five awards. Gagamel boss Bebe Cool who is also Rema’s mentor won the artist of the year award.

From the list of winners, it is safe for one to assume that a new breed of artists is on the rise to challenge the so called ‘Big name artists’
