Sad; An Anglican Pilgrim dies few Minutes to reach Namugongo

An Anglican pilgrim identified as Jackeline Arinaitwe, 49 from Katokori Village, Katanda Sub County, in Rubirizi District has been pronounced dead after she collapsed and died a few minutes to step a foot in Namugongo.
Arinaitwe was part of 102 Anglican pilgrims from West Ankole Diocese that were heading to to the protestant shrine.
The group leader of the 102 Anglican Rev. Benard Amujuni revealed that they had walked for the last 10 days but sadly one of them has been pronounced dead in Kyaliwajala.

Rev. Bernard has also revealed, the cause of death hasn’t been identified but they are suspecting she succumbed to high blood pressure.
The body of Arinatwe has been taken to Mulago hospital for Post-mortem.
It should be remembered that in 2019, a high speeding taxi knocked dead four Kenyan pilgrims and critically injured ten others along the Iganga-Tororo highway.
