Scandal Rocks Calvin Echodu’s Campaign Team as Shs 200 Million goes Missing

A major financial scandal has erupted within Calvin Echodu’s campaign team following the alleged mysterious disappearance of UGX 200 million .

The funds, reportedly meant for mobilization and logistical operations in the Dakabela constituency and Soroti City West, vanished under suspicious circumstances—plunging the already embattled campaign into deeper crisis.

Tempers flared when Echodu’s own brother, an employee at Soroti University of Science and Technology, discovered the irregularities.

a heated confrontation, he furiously turned on one of Echodu’s closest allies—a lawyer and aspiring MP for Dakabela—chasing him away from the meeting and berating him in public, likening his betrayal to that of a “barking dog.”

Humiliated and disgraced, the lawyer was forced to sleep in a village house in Tubur, far from the comfort of Echodu’s camp.
