Tennis Great Margaret Court Visits Uganda

A potentially significant event happened at Lugogo Tennis complex on Wednesday as record 62 Grand Slam, Australian legend Margaret Court started conduct clinics promising to open an academy in Uganda.
The buzz around Court who is the most successful tennis player ever male or female has been alive and kicking for along time and she arrived in Uganda on Tuesday.
“I came from a very poor background and became a World champion at 17 so new champions can be made from places like Uganda. Iam also here to encourage the government to support tennis development.”
She also brought special rackets and balls for children with little knowledge of the game.
The Australian, who was raised as a Catholic but converted to Pentecostalism, is in Uganda as a guest of Miracle Center Ministries.
She will together with her husband take part in church activities like preaching and inspirational talks at Rubaga and a crusade at Wankulukuku.
