Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Ochaya believes he is finally ready to take his chance in the national team.Ochaya

The leftback is primed to start away to Madagascar in the 2015 Nations Cup qualifiers this Sunday following first choice Godfrey Walusimbi’s suspension.

The Gor Mahia defender, Walusimbi, is paying the price for the straight red card picked against Senegal in the 2014 World Cup qualifier last September.
Now ochaya, who made the move to Kotoko from KCC in 2012, is looking at the chance to impress with relish.

“It is up to the coach to choose who starts but I am ready to help the team and prove my worth,” Ochaya said ahead of the trip.

“The good thing is that the coach’s (Micho Sredojevic) training is similar to what we do at Kotoko.”

Meanwhile, the Cranes are expected to shift from Namboole on Wednesday to the Njeru artificial turf to try acclimatize to conditions they will play in Madagascar.
