‘The Comedy Grill of Anne Kansiime’ to feature top comedians , artists as Talent Africa Group promises a thrilling experience
During a press conference held at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala on Wednesday, famed comedian Anne Kansiime reassured her fans that the upcoming show, dubbed ‘The Comedy Grill of Anne Kansiime’, will be a thrilling event not to forget.
Kansiime revealed that the Comedy Grill sets out to celebrate Ugandan comedy, and she is doing everything possible alongside the organisers, Talent Africa Group, to put on a remarkable show.
Set for 9th May 2025 at the Sheraton Gardens Kampala, ‘The Comedy Grill of Anne Kansiime’ will feature top comedians and artists.
The first-of-its-kind show aims to celebrate and elevate Kampala’s comedy scene, delivering a night of laughter and the most authentic Ugandan spirit of sharp wit and humour.
The Comedy Grill will feature a stellar lineup of “Grill Chefs,” including Salvador, Madrat, and Chico, Nana Kagga, GNL Zamba, Gaetano Kagwa, Dr. Miria Matembe, Prim Asiimwe, Sky, Sheila Gashumba, and Omara Daniel, all hosted by Tuwangye Richard and Deedan Muyiira.
Together, they will grill and toast to Kansiime in a showdown like never before.
The announcement was also made with a twist in the form of a mini roast between Kansiime, the event MC, Daniel Omara, and other fellow comedians present as a sneak peek of what to expect at the main event.
