UGANDA CUP: Lweza Eject Police FC

Lweza FC have stormed the 2014/2015 Uganda Cup Semis after ejecting Police FC with a 1-0 win.
The match was played at the Uganda Clays ground in Kajansi on Thursday evening.
Midfielder Peter Kamanje scored the only goal of the day, a long range strike from over 30 yards.
The Entebbe road based outfit missed another golden chance to make it two after Police FC goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo denied former Uganda Cranes goal poacher Geoffrey Sserunkuma’s effort inside the war zone.
Police FC on another side were not asleep and had a chance to take the lead in 25 minutes only a goal from Uganda Premier League leading scorer Umar Kasumba to be disallowed by referee William Ssenkumba.
The results from match day of the 2015 Uganda Cup quarter finals automatically sends the Entebbe based Lweza FC to feature in the semi finals of the League Cup draws.
