Uganda eager for Women’s Rugby World Cup

She
Uganda may not have played on the Women’s Rugby World Cup stage, but captain Joanita Warry Ssenfuka is hoping they can put that record straight this weekend and secure Africa’s place at France 2014.

Ssenfuka will lead her country into the African qualifier for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2014, knowing they have to first beat South Africa to earn their place.
“We will play not only for ourselves but also for former players who have built a foundation of Uganda women’s rugby,” explained the skipper.
A victory for either the Springbok Women or the She Cranes at the Buffalo City Municipal Stadium would guarantee them a place in the 2014 Women’s Rugby final showpiece.
