Uganda Open With Tanzania|VOLLEYBALL

Uganda’s national women volleyball team face neighbours Tanzania as the Federation of International Volleyball group Q World Championship qualifiers get underway at Lugogo Thursday evening at MTN Arena Lugogo.
The team coached by seasoned tactician Tony Lakony enters court at 8:00pm just after the Egypt-Kenya game that starts at 6pm.
Uganda defeated Tanzania in straight sets at the first stage of qualification in Nairobi back in July but is yet to register their first victories against Kenya and Egypt in any competitive game in history. Tanzania have since hired Kenyan Paul Bitok the men’s Rwanda national team tactician as head coach.
“We have to utilise our home advantage and give no room to error,” Lakony told reporters on Wednesday.
