Chameleone Gets MTV Base Nomination

Uganda is continuing to experience musical supremacy with various artists securing international nominations, the latest being Jose Chameleone.

On Tuesday morning, MTV base Africa took to social media to announce the official nominees of the ‘MAMA Evolution award’ which is entirely dedicated to Africa’s musical legends.

In this award, ten of Africa’s most influential contemporary musicians have been nominated including Uganda’s Jose Chameleone.

Among them also includes 2Face Idibia (Nigeria), Anselmo Ralph (Angola), Asa (Nigeria), Black Coffee (South Africa), D’Banj (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DRC), HHP (South Africa), P-Square (Nigeria) and Samini (Ghana).

Chameleone can be voted using the hash tag #EvoultionChameleone or by visiting the MTV mama official website and follow prompts.

This year, Chameleone’s nomination comes as the third international scoop Uganda is getting after Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool.
