Children To Get Modeling Lessons
Modeling industry in Uganda seems to be taking a new twist as children will start to have modeling lessons.
Sources at International school of modeling in Wandeya have revealed that the new lessons will aim at giving children aged 3 to 14 years a chance to grasp the basics of modeling.
“Under this course of study, the children will be equipped with skills like Modeling Photography, Runway modeling, commercial modeling, acting, dancing and communication skills and certificates will be awarded at the end of study duration,” said Disan Walulya ,one of the director of International School of modeling.
He further said that fashion is one of the most influential forms of expression in our contemporary culture.
“Fashion and Modeling serves as a mirror of our time, fashion is also regarded as a post-modern metaphor of what goes on in society.
Fashion is explored as a creative force, a business, and a means of communication with the society”
Last month, the first batch of qualified models graduated from the School of International modeling and certificates were awarded.
