Desire Luzinda who has been in hiding for the last three weeks has surrendered to police today morning, Red Pepper online reports.
Our highly placed sources have revealed that Desire Luzinda today appeared at the Police Head quarters in Naguru where she recorded a statement on how her nude pictures leaked to the public.
She was escorted by her two lawyers.
For the past few weeks, Desire’s nude pictures have been trending on social media and this act breaks the recently passed anti pornography bill.
The nude pictures were leaked by her Nigerian bonkmate Franklin Emuobor following a misunderstanding that had erupted between the two.
Section 8 of the Computer Misuse Act says: “Any person who wilfully and repeatedly uses electronic communication to disturb or attempts to disturb the peace, quiet or right of privacy of any person with no purpose of legitimate communication whether or not a conversation ensues commits a misdemeanor and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding 24 currency points or imprisonment not exceeding one year or both”.
