Fr. Gaetano blasts M7 over Kisanja Hakuna Mchezo

The outspoken chairman of Kick Corruption out of Kigezi, Fr Gaetano Batanyenda has slammed President Museveni’s Kisanja Kakuna Mchezo (tenure of no jokes) saying it is only meant to hoodwink Ugandans, especially the youth.
According to him, the Kisanja Kakuna Mchezo is not different from the 1986 fundamental change mantra which was designed purposely to solicit support from Ugandans.
Addressing journalists in Mbarara over the weekend, Fr. Batanyenda urged Ugandans not to again accept deceit and manipulation.
“The difference between fundamental change of 1986 and Kisanja Kakuna Mchezo is in the language. That time he used English and now he has used Kiswahili,” he said.
Fr. Batanyenda said, what Ugandans have experienced over the last 30years is the exact opposite of the fundamental change the 1986 ‘liberators’ promised.
“Kisanja Kakuna Mchezo confirms to Ugandans that the leadership of President Museveni has been a joke for the last 30years,” he said.
Fr. Batanyenda challenged the president and the framers of the slogan to openly tell Ugandans that they have been manipulated for three decades.
