Fraudstar Mwinyi changes tricks as hunt for him continues over Ugx3b Cyber Fraud

Uganda Police in collaboration with the support of Interpol recently launched a manhunt for Hussein Ibrahim Mwinyi suspected of money laundering, obtaining money through false pretence on a platform referred to as greenmondayinvest.com and having funding links to extremist groups that carried out the recent bombings in East Africa. An arrest warrant was since issued effective immediately.
We have exclusively learnt that crafty Mwinyi has since changed ways of operation. We have learnt that Mwinyi now uses a different online platform called GMPAY to con innocent Ugandans.
He has gone a head to share secret messages to different people informing them of the immediate. This came after he noticed that the earlier platform Green Monday Investments.com is being tracked down.

According to Police Mwinyi is suspected to be hiding within the East African region or in the Middle East most likely in Dubai.
The police is urging any member of the public with any information that can lead to his arrest to come to the Directorate of criminal intelligence (CID) in Kibuli in confidence.
Anyone with credible information contact the Commandant of the Flying Squad unit on +256 775 399 or call the Uganda Police National Command Centre on +256 771 319 371 for any leads. The police further said that a big reward awaits anyone with information leading to his arrest.
Most of his victims according to our investigations are youth who are desperate to get jobs and quick cash through online trade.
Jonathan Okello one of the victims of the scam said that the suspect uses a merchant ID of Airtel Uganda ID 1208706 in the names of Monday Technologies Ltd where he has scammed over 2,000 people of over UGX3b. He called on police to investigate his whereabouts and bring him to justice.
Another victim named Ssempala Bruhan posted a screen shot showing how the suspect scammed him of about UGX4.5m using his company Monday Technologies.
His whims have also not spared top managers and CEOs of top companies in the country. A Director from a leading media house who spoke to us on grounds of anonymity said he also fell victim to the scam of Green Monday Tv which is currently listed on the Go-Tv platform under Multichoice.
