University League Postponed

Kampala University midfielder Peter Otai is closely tracked by Mubs full back Jesse Lukoki. The UFL will return next week.

University Football League (UFL) that was tipped to kickoff today evening has been pushed ahead by seven days after organizers cited systematic issues.

According to Anthony Tumwesigye, the league manager, the orgainsers have not yet finalized with the sponsors and other stake holders.

“The league has not started as earlier scheduled since we want to finalise with a few things that will bring in better attractive action this season”, confirmed Tumwesigye.

Nine Universities will battle reigning champions Kampala University including formerly suspended Kyambogo and new comers Gulu while IUIU and UCU opted out on religious reasons.
