Uganda volley ball federation (UVF) has decided to change the national volleyball league starting with next season.

The Sports Organizing Committee (SOC) led by Juma Osunge and the clubs managers over the weekend agreed to scrap the men’s Serie B and C league play offs.

The top two teams will now automatically qualify for Serie A after rounds of the league while Serie C winners, eastern and western league winners shall be promoted to Serie B.

“This is aimed at making the leagues more competitive as every match shall have a significant impact on the final team’s ranking”, says Osinge.

UVF also unveiled plans of developing a fourth court at MUBS to enable Serie C league have its own court and also maintain the league with one major venue.
