Express FC coach Wasswa Bbosa believes their midweek FUFA Super League clash Police could define his side’s season.

The Red Eagles will host the Cops in a Week 17 Fixture on Tuesday evening at Nuteesa 1 Memorial Stadium in Wankulukukuku.

Wasswa Bbosa’s side lost a handful of players mid season but welcome back a a few former players including striker Julius Ogwang, Henry Kantongole, defender Bob Kasozi, midfielder Baker Lukwiya and Derrick Busingye as they struggle to survive the drop.

“It will be a tricky game because we have not seen how they have prepared for the rest of the season but I am confident we will win,” Wasswa said.

“This game will give us a clear picture of how ready we are for the league especially my new boys.

“I have told the boys to treat each game like the first and last, we need to do well this season.”

In the first round, Express lost 1-0 to Police in Kavumba under ex-coach Frank Video Anyau before he ran to Big League side Bazza Holdings last month.

Elsewhere, struggling Proline FC also welcome a Richard Kasagga inspired Kiira Young side in Lugogo having lost to Vipers 1-0 in their opening game away at St Mary’s Kitende.

Mujib Kasule’s club is this second round fielding a new look starting eleven after losing starters Dennis Makoba Bigala (off to Vietnam), winger Isma Kabugu (Nairobi City Stars) , Patrick Ssenfuka,  Andrew ‘Majegere’ Kyekulidde and Silvah Ochaya halfway the season.

They are locked in 12th place on fifteen points from 16 games while Kiira are pushing for a top-three finish just 4 points adrift leaders Vipers SC.
