Bomb Blast Kills Somali Lawmaker Outside Presidential Palace
Friday's attack comes a day after another bomb exploded in a busy market place shortly after 0800 GMT.
A Somali lawmaker was killed in a car bombing Friday morning near the presidential palace in the country’s capital, a separate lawmaker said.
Parliament member Mohammed Warsame Feisal, apparently unaware that someone had planted a bomb in his car, was driving the vehicle when the bomb exploded in Mogadishu, Parliament colleague Abdinasir Garane said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
