Date Set For Bukanga County By-election

The Electoral Commission has set November 26 as the date for Bukanga County by-elections.
The Bukanga county seat became vacant after the death of MP Gregory Matovu last month. Bukanga county constituency has a total of 61,001 registered voters and 135 polling stations. An update for the voters register will take place in each parish from the 17th to the 23 October including weekend.
EC secretary Sam Rwakoojo revealed that the elections will cost 381 million shillings.
