The match which was meant to be played in February was rescheduled because the KCCA were taking part in the Orange CAF Champions League preliminaries.

Express, who are in 12th place, have vowed to give 100 percent in this game since it means a lot to them in the fight to remain in top flight football.

Willy Kavuma the Red Eagles skipper says the game is so important to them that they will do everything to clock maximum points.
“This is a very big game for us. KCC are a strong side but Express has pedigree and will always want to come up on top especially now when we are not sure of avoiding relegation,” Kuvuma says.

The Wankulukuku said has often blown hot and cold with varying results but they enter this fixture high on confidence having beaten Soana 2–0 last Friday.

Victory for former champions Express will keep them in 10th place, while a loss will mean either team in the relegation zone expect CRO can leapfrog them, as CRO have conceded many goals and have a poor goal difference.

The reverse fixture of the tie ended 1 all at Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on 1st November 2013.
