Jamaican Singer Nyanda In Tawoo
American based Jamaican singer Nyanda is in town for the International Women’s day Gig slated for Saturday 08, March at Garden City Rooftop.
Nyanda landed at Entebbe International Airport yesterday morning and later visited the Airtel house at Wempewo Avenue in Kampala.
According to our snoops, the concert is a celebration of the inspiring and courageous work women around the world are doing to secure women’s rights and shape more tolerant and equitable societies.
Speaking at Journalists yesterday, Arindam Chakrabarty the Airtel Uganda managing director said that;
“We are committed to supporting and recognizing individuals that are using their skill and profession to empower others and contribute to our culture, arts, social, political and economic development.”
Nyanda Will be the headlining act at the concert dubbed ‘Inspiring women concert’ and she is going to perform alongside Uganda’s songstress Cindy Sanyu.
Before the main concert on Saturday March 8, Nyanda will be hosted to a Meet and Greet party on Friday March 7 at the Kabalagala based Club Venom.
