Thursday’s FUFA Big League Jinja derby game at Kakindu Stadium between Sadolin Bugembe and Jinja Municipal Council Hippos ended in a barren draw.
Elgon group leaders Sadolin maintained their grip at the helm whilst extending their unbeaten run.
The result means that Sadolin keep top on 32 points, followed by KJT Rwenshama and Jinja MC with 27 and 24 respectively but with a game in hand.
Elsewhere, Busia United lost two valuable points at home in their 1 all draw against Ngora Freda Carr to climb 4th from 5th with 18 points as Ngora stayed static in sixth with 13 points.
In the Rwenzori group, third placed Saints FC have Friday morning travelled north to face Gulu University.
The game will be played at Pece Stadium on Saturday March 22 with the Kampala based side looking to make it 5 wins in a row in the second round of the league as promotion playoffs near.
