Kabale LC5 boss wants Mutebile’s replacement appointed from Kigezi region

Nelson Nshangabasheija the Kabale LC5 Boss has called on President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to remember Kigezi sub-region once again and reward it with some of the positions that used to be held by sons of the soil.

Nshangabasheija says that positions like that of former Prime ministers Amama Mbabazi and Dr Ruhakana Rugunda, former Finance minister Dr Ezra Suruma, former Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura and former Agriculture minister Hope Mwesigye , Late Prof Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile the former Bank of Uganda Governor , Lt.Gen Jim Besigye Owoyesigyire the Former Commander of Air force, Major General Timothy Sabiti Mutebile the former commander of Engineering Brigade in UPDF there is need for President Museveni to make some replacement of such prominent people from kigezi.

Nshangabasheija revealed this as he addressing a Press Conference in his offices at Makanga Hill in Kabale town.

He says that the President Museveni should have mercy on Kigezi sub region by choosing a new governor as kigezi has capable men that can take up the post of the central Bank Governor like Prof. Augustus Nuwagaba and Prof Ezra Suruma as well other sons and daughters of the land. He added that the nation is closer to completing a year without the Bank governor, something that the President should look into.

“President needs to remember kigezi again in appointments as well to consider choosing a new Bank of Uganda Governor from Kigezi sub region to replace Mutebile .The late governor died before finishing his term, I really request our good President, to choose the governor from Kigezi because our term was just beginning”. Said Nshangabasheija
