Kibuli muslims conferred Ramathan Special

Yesterday morning, May 14, the muslim community of Kibuli, Kampala suburb was gifted with foodstuff all courtesy of Airtel Uganda. A number of packaged assorted foodstuffs were served at Kibuli Mosque by Airtel staff lead by Ali Balunywa- marketing and distributions manager.

Airtel’s big heart is to support and appreciate the Muslim fraternity as its customers whilst encouraging them to their commitment of faith believing in Islam.

“We are here to support the muslim brothers during this festive fasting season with foodstuff so as to encourage them to stay committed to their spiritual faith and also to give back to the community who are our customers,” said Ali Balunywa.

This is a known culture of Airtel telecommunications company to work hand in hand with its customers giving back with gratitude.

“This is not the first time Airtel as a company has served us here in Kibuli. Even last year, Airtel visited us and has been supporting us in different aspects. Therefore we thank Airtel for such a continued support in encouraging our Islamic brothers besides its astonishing services,” noted Imam Abdul Salamu Mutyaba while receiving gifts on behalf of fellow muslims.

In addition, the company also paid a visit to patients at Kibuli Muslim Hospital to support them as well. A number of patients and nurses in honor wards support from for, mothers congratulated for giving birth and surprised with Airtel gifts.

“We are very privileged in honour with such a surprising visit and support from Airtel company,” Sis. Nabukela Rashidah- principal nursing officer expressed gratitude before adding on that, “this not only encourages patients but also motivates us the staff in the hospital.”
