Madagascar Massa-cred By Uganda Cranes

Madagascar’s Barea will live to regret why they did not strangle the Uganda Cranes in Antananarivo last weekend when the two sides met.
Geoffrey Massa’s goal was difference as the two sides clashed on Saturday at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in the Ugandan capital, Kampala.
It was fine work from Oloya who crossed for Massa to nod home the game’s lone goal.

The goal scored in the 13th minute means Uganda Cranes qualify to the next round on a 2 – 2 aggregate. The cranes lost the first leg 1 – 2 in Antananarivo and that away goal was key in the Ugandan side’s qualification.
Uganda Cranes should have added more goals had it not been for Massa’s wastefulness.

Hooray! They we go Uganda football coming home. I ware my Ugandan Jersey with pride. Congratulation cranes you national heroes eke the flag flying.
Well done to The Cranes for this vital win. But if one goal is a “massacre” I wonder what we should call three or more goals! That means our standards are so low we have no chance of progessing much further into the tournament!
