Man Jailed for Defiling and impregnating His 12-year-old Daughter

Police at Butenga in Bukomansimbi district are holding a 30-year old man for defiling and impregnating his 12 year old daughter

The suspect is Leo Kajubi, a resident of Kyakatebe village, in Butenga Sub County.

Kajubi, who has been on run since he impregnated the minor, was picked up by police detectives from his home following a tip off by a concerned resident.

Kajubi had rented a separate house for his daughter after impregnating her. She had been living in Nyendo, Masaka district. However, after giving birth, he resolved to send her back to live with her mother in Bukomansimbi.

Residents were however concerned for the girl’s safety because the mother had said on several occasions she could not share the same house with her daughter who was committing incest with her father.

Patrick Kyebudde, Bukomansimbi, District Criminal Investigations Officer, says concerned residents informed the police.

He said that police is going to take the minor for HIV/AIDS examination as investigations into the matter proceed.

Kajubi will faces charges of defilement and incest.
