Amama To Start Nation-Wide Consultations Ahead of 2016 Polls
2016 presidential aspirant John Patrick Amama Mbabazi has penned a letter notifying the Electoral Commission oh his intentions to conduct a national wide consultation in preparation for his nomination.
“In accordance with S3 of the Presidential elections act (15 of 2005) this is to introduce myself as an aspiring candidate for president for the 2016 general elections. I publically announced my candidature and find herewith attached a copy of my statement. I will conduct nation- wide consultations to prepare for my nominations,” Read Amama’s letter dated June 16, 2015.
On Monday June 15 2015, Ex Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi has declared that he will be standing for president come 2016.
“I come before you today, to tell you that I will be seeking your vote, first within my party the NRM as its flag bearer; and later on in the whole country for President in the 2016 Presidential elections,”
