FUFA Takes Over Wavah FM

Following the financial challenges faced by businessman Sir Gordon Wavamuno, the federation of Ugandan Football Association (FUFA) has bought out his FM radio station 102.1 Wavah FM.

The station has been rebranded to FUFA FM which is believed to be entirely on Ugandan football.
This transaction was confirmed by FUFA President Moses Magogo at a press conference today in Mengo.
Speaking to the press, FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo said the station will be used to boost the games in the country.
“102.1 FUFA Radio will basically educate, inform, entertain and help in the promotion of FUFA Commercial purposes and the game. The radio operations take immediate effect,” said Magogo.
He further explained that the radio covers a radius of 80KM AND THE Acquisition is an endorsed project by the FUFA general assembly in Lira.
This follows a huge financial breakdown Wavamunno’s company which saw him putting his longest serving venture WBS TV up for sale.
