First round early pace setters Soana FC will be all out to defeat champions KCCA FC this evening to go top of the log.

Daniel WagalukaKCCA FC will now shift attention to the FUFA Super League after exiting the lucrative CAF Champion League last weekend. They lost 2-1 to Zambia’s Nkana FC and bowed out 4-3 on aggregate.

But coach George Nsimbe’s team will hope to return in the league in style to prove to their fans that they are still a good team.

Nsimbe said on Monday evening that they have to take every game seriously since this is the second round and all games count.

KCCA FC will miss the services of Steven Bengo, who is still out injured after missing the Champions League ties. Leading top scorer Tony Odur and Brian Majwega will lead KCCA FC.

But Soana FC, placed third on the log and fresh from stopping SC Victoria University, have promised to take all three points.

“We know KCCA FC is a strong side, but we know how to beat them like we did in the first round,” said their head coach Richard Makumbi.

The second game on the card will see SC Victoria University host Entebbe in a game they should win if they hope to stay in touch with the leading teams SC Vipers and URA FC.
